Essay

In the course of developing a pattern for psychological observation, it is important to point out that the different elements of an individual’s being should all be carried into serious consideration. Relatively, it could be understood that a person’s reaction on matters is not affected by his attitude alone. There are both external and internal factors that define the way by which a person becomes highly affected by a particular matter. In relation to such factors, a person then reacts accordingly. This is the reason why in psychological studies, the element of correspondence bias is often given attention to.

Correspondence bias entails to measure what is beyond a person’s behavior. True, a huge consideration on behavior is given attention to when a person’s reaction is measured. Relatively though, there exists a margin of error. This particular aspect in psychological studies specifically provides both a limitation and allowance on how study results are to be measured according to the observations and thesis being proven. Considerably, such element tries to recognize the need to allow error in each point of results analysis. It should be understood that certain situations, when they arise, become highly affective on how one reacts and how one responds to a particular question. This especially involves situations that may cause a person to doubt and/or panic at some point.

Relatively, this information reminds all psychological researchers to make sure that when they observe their participants and the response to the questions they are presented with, it is important to carry into consideration each person’s individual response to situations. With such uniqueness in a person, it is specifically important to note that their response to particular situations would also be unique and specifically dependent on their own backgrounds and personal understanding of the matter presented to them. Each individual faces a different situation in life, thus each person should be expected to face a particular matter differently.
