Pages: 1

Words: 237

Essay

This article describes how the liberalization and conservation of water was an important issue in earlier times. However, more recently, the transfer of water has been a widely debated issue. The paper describes and explains the different aspects of argument and disagreements revolving water. The disagreements on water are ascribed to a combination of reasons. Water wars and specific examples of such are detailed within the article, to provide better understanding and explanation of the topic.

Water privatization is a huge issue because people and markets seek to monopolize a natural and necessary resource. Water is a natural necessity, not a commodity. The problem with the water trade is that it takes water, a natural human right and resource, from individuals and re-distributes it to others. We all need and deserve water in order to live. Water disagreements tend to revolve around the interpretation of evidence and the differences in world view. The article further explains and suggests future development and understanding regarding the topic. It is important to bridge the gap between the two views of water privatization. We all need water in order to survive, but the market should not be monopolized and treated as a mere commodity. Clean water is a necessity for all living things, and should be equally attainable to everybody on earth. The article provides suggestions to meet halfway for a resolution; this is essential for restoring water resources for every individual.
