Diffusion of Innovation: Applied in Public Health Campaign, Essay Example

Public health campaign programs are supposed to raise awareness especially among those who are involved in a particular healthcare need. For instance, for communities that are populated by individuals who have lesser capacity in attaining particular medical attention, it becomes essential to take into account how these communities would likely respond to the changes that are to happen especially in the course of ingesting healthcare campaigns into the social system. Practically, it could be understood that when it comes to determining the right concept of public health campaign that can be applied in a particular community, the specific needs of the people is taken into full account.

Relatively, when integrating models of diffusion innovation into a particular system of public health campaign, the determination of the issue at hand and how well it could be resolved through spreading information is rather considered effective if the attention of the public is taken into full accord. What makes the integration efficient enough is that of its level of acceptability and applicability among the individuals being targeted for information sharing. Making sure that the right information reaches the right people could be enhanced through applying conceptual idealisms that involve the utilization of new age technology.  According to Wejnert’s (2002) article, It is assumed that with the aid of new technology and the internet, reaching out to the prospective audience of the information would be much efficient and specifically determinable especially in hoping to create an impact to the mindset and the attitude of the public towards healthcare and the way they know about the provisions that are readily available for them.
