The relative connection of price and quality has become a common thought among different industries that operate for the sake of earning more profit. However, when it comes to healthcare organizations, it is evidently acceptable how their facilities are expected to serve the needs of the community as the primary purpose of their existence in the industry. On the other hand, it could be realized that somehow, the capacity of these organizations to provide the best service needed by the people do not solely rely on the money that is spent on the maintenance of both their facilities and their personnel.
Training the right people to do the right tasks need not be as expensive as assumed by some industrial critics. Utilizing effective technology and making sure that such technology is embraced by the people working within the industry need to be specifically given attention to during such trainings. It is through this approach that expenses towards unnecessary medical practice commotions could be avoided. This approach efficiently reduces the amount of money spent for healthcare while practically increasing the competence of the healthcare organizations to respond to their responsibilities towards the members of the community.
Funding highly demanding medical operations such as chemotherapy, dialysis and other operations that involve massive machine maintenance could be handled through effective use of the machines and constantly checking them for errors. This process could keep the integrity of each machine, thus making it easier for the results of diagnosis to be more accurate for the patients’ sake. Doing so shall help avoid miscalculations of diagnosis which shall make it easier for doctors to find the right ailment and treat them as early as possible therefore reducing more cost for misalignment of medical treatments offered to patients.
Hence, as a concise response to the above question, quality healthcare need not be expensive; instead, it should be focused and concentrated on what matters most for the stakeholders that it serves. Proper training and proper application of good medical practice among the staff members ought to provide a distinct impact on how healthcare procedures are taken into account which could effectively lower the costs for healthcare operations.
