Dreams From My Father, Essay Example

Essay

This quote succinctly describes my RN-BSN experience because the journey brings a distinct change to me professionally as it relates to how I function in the future. We live in a world where it is often said that change is inevitable. The only thing that is constant is change itself. However, while changes are occurring in other sciences, there is so much professionally that has changed over the years and even recently. As a RN – BSN there are still so many more changes still to evolve within the science. Nursing is currently practiced by applying evidence.

Nurses who developed insights into application of techniques for brining relief to patients during their practice launched research to prove assumptions. Currently there are so much theory, paradigms and evidence in nursing, which the early professionals were never exposed to during their life time.  These nursing trailblazers did not wait for someone else or another time to create the change they desired. It was done by them in their time. This speaks to me as a prospective RN-BSN that this experience must produce change within my professional practice.

I selected this quote because the person who made it showed evry American and person on earth how to create the desired change by being it. He ha brougnt a change in American politics that some intellectuals felt would have never occurred in their life time, but he made it happen through him and in his time.
