Research Paper

For this particular study on experimented operation applied on two groups of test-mice, the scientists took the option of observing the subjects closely especially when it comes to determining the results and differentiating the effect of caffeine water in their system. The observation process was crucial to this test as it intended to identify the least common points between the experimental groups used. What was rather unusual with the study was the number of mice included in each test group. One of which included 11 test mice and the other [to whom caffeine water was given] were 10 in number. Although to some, this number may not be as crucial, there are instances when it is the number of those used in particular experiments that make the difference.

The results of the experiment were rather uncanny. The expected results where the mice provided with caffeine-water would develop diabetes did not turn out to be real. Instead, those who were given the plain water diet were the ones that have developed the increased rate of sugar level in their body. This was rather unexpected. Notably, at the end of the research, it has been noted that the caffeine used in the experiment was provided by a corporation as a form of gift. This could affect the overall result of the research. Instead of being impartial in nature, the research becomes tainted with company-concerns as the results may be used to prove that their brand of coffee do not produce any referential basis of developing diabetes among their consumers.

At present, people are naturally in love with drinking coffee. This particular study gives these individuals a chance to see whether or not their drinking culture could affect their health. Nevertheless, the corporal taint in the experiment hurts such value that it could be considered invalid and imbalanced. Nevertheless, it is important to note that when it comes to analyzing studies such as this one, it is important to note its purpose in the first place before the elements used in it are scrutinized accordingly.
