Dubai’s economic success along with their tolerance and multi-cultural environment serve as an example for the world. The fact that this city thrives so successfully in the midst of a turbulent region, allows them to be anexample for peace and tolerance.Close connections provide the backbone of tolerance and peace, and when these are fostered, innovation and creativity can thrive.

Dubai hosted the World Expo in 2020, making it the first Middle Eastern country to receive this honor.The World Expo ran from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2020 and was held at the Dubai Trade Centre Jebel Ali. The theme Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,focused on inspiring peace through nurturing creativity and innovation, and improving human relationships and connections.

The 2020 World Expo in Dubai encouragedrelationships and promoted the understanding of other individuals, culture, and religions. The amount of diversity in Dubai sets high standards for cooperation and tolerance. Dubai is a multicultural city which is able to thrive, despite being set in the midst of a region commonly associated with conflict.

Dubai’s ability to succeed in a difficult climate gives its citizens a sense of pride. The innovation and creativity which have always been an integral part of Dubai’s culture, served as a platform for the World Expo. Because of it winning the World Expo 2020, Dubai’s economic success based on tolerance will be recognized globally.

Dubai’s success stems from its ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships and connections. It can be used a model of tolerance and cohesiveness, and serve as a prime example for its theme Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. Other countries at the World Expo 2020 were able understand the importance of relationships and how they affect tolerance, while at the same time see these ideas implemented in the functionality of Dubai. With the festivities concluded, people from around the world will travel to Dubai to experience first-hand the sense of connection and brotherhood. Dubai will continue to thrive and inspire other countries to work for peace and tolerance.
