Eastern Star Organization, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 325

Essay

My future membership in the Eastern Star Organization is important to me because it will support my commitment to community service and to helping others. This is a longstanding passion that I have explored throughout my life and continue to evaluate my options to support those in need of service. The Eastern Star Organization is an important step towards my personal growth and in advancing my objectives. I am committed to membership in the Eastern Star Organization and will work to fulfill its mission in my activities.

My personal values and objectives also support my future membership in Eastern Star, as I am married with three children, including a son who is attending college and two daughters who are in grammar school. In my spare time, I enjoy the cinema and attending my children’s basketball and soccer games. In my professional career, I work as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the psychiatric unit of Jackson Park Hospital. In this role, I am able to provide support to women in need who face acute and chronic illness. In this capacity, I have grown professionally and recognize the importance of helping others in need and in giving back to the local community as best as possible.

With my future membership in Eastern Star, I anticipate that will provide a valuable contribution from the very beginning and will support the areas that possess the greatest level of need. My commitment will be continuous and I will work collaboratively with other members to ensure that local community members are served and supported as best as possible. It is my expectation that the organization will provide me with many benefits and personal rewards, as I will be able to support local groups and individuals with specific needs that might otherwise not receive the necessary assistance. This will be a fulfilling and exceptional experience that I look forward with my inclusion as an active member of this outstanding organization in the near future.
