The world has continually become a perilous place to live, explore and have an adventure. Both dangerous and chronic diseases have threatened to wipe away entirely human ingenuity by destroying their lives and leaving no room for existence. However, with time scientists have decided to come up with modern divisive methods to control and suppress some of these illnesses. ADHD condition is an array of related chronic, neurobiological disorders that influences the average human ability to control activity level, attend to developmental tasks and. Inhibit behavior. ADHD disease is characterized by various body symptoms that can be managed at an early age (Silverstein, Alvin & Silverstein, pg 144). Those people who are affected by this condition face stiff challenges in trying to understand and focus. For the individuals in academic levels, it is difficult for them to concentrate on their studies. This makes it crystal clear to hammer the fact that ADHD condition indeed affects negatively the learning process. Therefore, this paper discusses extensively the impact ADHD diseases has an effect on the learning process to both children and adults. finally, a brief summary will be provided to bring the essay to an elegant ending.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) has severe symptoms like inability to concentrate, distractibility, impulsivity and inability to focus n details. Recent research shows that this condition is characterized by two dormant traits; hyperactivity-impulsivity and inattention. Sometimes these symptoms might be present to the patient simultaneously and either the case, the victim deserves a medical attention. In the majority of the cases recorded, the symptoms go unrealized for long especially if it involves a child (Ratey, pg 96). These children face difficulties in having attention and easily get affected by situations that happen concurrently.
For any child attending school, accomplishing class work and homework at the right time is a vital tool to measure their academic progress. However, students with ADHD condition ignore tasks that call for the sustained mental power they are very vulnerable to careless mistakes, losing their reading materials, find it difficult to listen to their teacher and are extremely disorganized. In young preschooler patients, hyperactivity condition is sometimes difficult to notice but at seven years, it is present. In class, these students have challenging moments that might include; frequently having to stand up and walk around, squirming and fidgeting.

Whether you are an ordinary teacher or even a professional lecturer for many years, some of the advanced teaching tactics are required to keep inattention and hyperactive students in class wanting more of your teaching.
It is true that all work without play makes Jack a dull boy. Playing is a paramount factor for a normal child growth and development. Preschool students, in fact, spend more time playing than studying (Golden, pg 45). However, when it’s playing, time their behavior is entirely different. They can’t play quietly and in many cases they talk excessively even when in class. Other students in class find it difficult to concentrate due to endless destructions from these pupils. Statistics reveals that due to their excessive talking and noisy nature, some of these students forget quickly what they are taught in class. This affects their performance during exams. I can easily back up the claim on the platform that, ‘empty vessels make the loudest noise’.
There are various traits that are instilled in children when they get to school. These virtues help the child in self-realization and preparation smooth decision-making process. ADHD pupils have a hard time in trying to be organized. Attaining excellent results in school is not easy unless the child is trained on how to be organized and present answers in the desired manner. To ensure that the students are all actively involved in teaching, teachers ask questions that at least requires answers from each student. This makes them understand that you expect answers every time. However, these students behave in an uninhibited and inappropriate way, they sometimes divulge responses to the question the teachers ask even before their turn is up. This makes it difficult for the teachers to control the class learning environment for all students. It is a common thing to all pupils disrupting the class, however, to ADHD students is more frequent (Gnaulati, pg 305). Most of the students in this category face challenges in maintaining school life schedule. A good example is they might spend a lot of time working on the homework and eventually forget to pick the work the following day.
Education process becomes comfortable when children are in school, they are taught the importance of teamwork and friends. Friends in school help us to view life in a different perspective. Unfortunately, students with ADHD find it’s hard to make friends and associate with them. Due to their hyperactive nature, victims fight or cause a lot of chaos to their buddies. This makes them cause a lot of fear to their colleagues. As a result, they face paralyzed social circles, and this makes them experience loneliness and alienation. The education process is a collective experience that requires teachers, students and friends intertwining.
In their teenage period, ADHD pupils are vulnerable to increased vehicle accidents (Kooij, pg 169). Crossing a busy street requires keenness and attention. However, these students lack attention to focus and in many cases they cross the road when it’s not safe. Their hyperactive nature also accelerates the chances of accidents occurrence. This makes it difficult for parents to send their students to far away schools because they are afraid of their children encountering accidents. In simple terms, this student’s ability to excel in education gets limited, and the parents are forced to take their children in the nearest schools to take care of them.
Statistics shows that parents who have their children affected with this condition are required to be careful when makingmedical treatment approaches. This is because it is sometimes very expensive due to the treatment for other mental illness that comes along with the sickness. Parents should look for schools with social and behavior training for their ADHD children. However, according to (Golden, pg 83), not all pupils with this condition call for special medical attention. The students suffering from this disease can live a normal school life if the correct school-based programs are implemented. The required approach should involve school psychologists, teachers, parents, mental health professionals and students. ADHD treatment is made possible by observing child’s behavior in their ordinary living (Ratey, pg 126). . It is clear that ADHD impairs child and adult learning process to a higher degree.
