In addition, it is important to develop a strategy that will encompass new perspectives and utilize technology-based resources in an efficient manner to improve expertise. There are a number of advantages associated with web-based education, including the mobility of this type of technology at virtually any location, along with the potential cost effectiveness of this strategy. Therefore, it is important for practitioners to utilize this option whenever possible to improve their knowledge and to connect with other persons in the same field to share experiences and aim to grow the profession. This process provides an additional learning curve for practitioners that supports their growth and ability to offer expert care and treatment to obstetrics patients in a timely and efficient manner to meet the needs of this population.
