Essay

A lot of students in the American learning system become less interested in determining a process of learning that would specifically give them a chance to explore their capacities of understanding and application especially in relation to language subjects. It has been realized that the process of understanding a specific language only becomes effective when it is incurred through practical grasping of lessons in class; which includes proper reading practice.

Several students who are engaged in good reading practices are able to determine better ways of comprehending with what they encounter in their reading activities. Along with this good practice comes a distinct culture and behavior especially in grasping the great aspects of language-build-up that they encounter in school in relation to how they use the language in actual conversations and relation with their peers. Allowing them get immersed into the language through personal and casual connections increases their interest in acquiring literacy in the language that they are trying to master.

However, the educators admit that it is not that easy to get the interest of the students into distinguishing good reading activities as part of their regular daily routine. Through giving them regular learning through reading activities and having them give attention to good discussions after such reading assignments, teachers are able to hone their comprehension skills. It is also through this reading practice that the vocabulary of the students increase accordingly allowing them to become more involved in better conversations that is better enhanced through classroom discussions.

Practically, through constant practice, helping the students cope up with their reading practices is actually a good foundation in helping them with their general learning needs. As language vocabularies and language comprehension are among the most important foundations of good learning approaches, students become more literate and are able to relate well to subjects that are presented to them in different classes. Applying good reading practices in different aspects of learning and subjects gives students a chance to improve their way of learning on their own. This allows them understand different lessons in their own pace. With the help of the educators and the cooperation of the parents and other members of the family, the students who seem to be struggling with their studies would be able to cope up with the hardships of dealing with such subjects.

Practically, language literacy is the basis of good education. Naturally, learners become more involved in their studies when they are able to understand the relation of such lessons into their actual living condition. In this case, it is suggested that the students be given the chance to see the value of their studies with their actual relations and conversations with their families and their peers. Establishing activities that are able to improve the way the students use their reading in discussions help make them see the relative value of each reading into their actual lives.

Understandably, through experience and observation, it has been confirmed that students who are more literate and able to understand well with their lessons are the ones who are able to apply their learned aspects in actual living conditions. The capacity of the educators to see directly on what the students need from them in an individual level shall give them a better vision of how they are likely to create activities that are able to motivate the students to embrace better reading practices.

Hence, in relation to the desire of responding to the actual procedures of learning improvement, teachers would do better to identify well with the needs of the students as they respond to the activities presented to them in class. Making them realize the importance of language literacy in their regular conversations and relationship with family and friends as well as establishing a better way of expressing themselves through conversation, the students would be able to better define their progress accordingly.
