The retirement ranch can primarily benefit the elderly who seek to spend the rest of their days in comfort and community. During their twilight years, people more than ever seek to find company and solace with their fellow human beings, but the elderly often find themselves alienated from younger generations (Waxman, 2010). The retirement ranch is a perfect place for them to connect with other people and build new, relationships that they can help them enjoy their remaining days to the fullest. The ranch also benefits families of the elderly who wish to be able to give their loved ones a good place to stay in where their needs can be best provided. Busy work schedules make it impossible for some families to be able to attend to their loved ones sufficiently (Dickinson et al., 2005). A retirement ranch can provide a place where such loved ones can be well taken cared of, and the ranch can be a convenient place for the family to visit and take their loved ones out when there is time available.
