Eradication of Polio and Small Pox in Africa, Essay Example

Polio is a definitely hard-to-conquer ailment. It could be realized that somehow the emergence of this particular ailment has raised questions on how effective modern medicine is and its possibilities’ in surely eradicating the emergence of particular ailments that have existed several years ago. Notably, there are elements that cannot completely be mandated due to their constant existence in the community. One of such element is that of the condition of the people in the community, including that of their consideration towards the most important points relating to the economic capacity of the nation to become more effective in determining their need to buy necessary resources to produce the medicine, or to get ample medicine from the market to completely treat those who are afflicted by polio (Asiedu, et al, 2008).

Practical options of research ought to be given an understandable stance especially in finding the most definite cure that could help in eliminating symptoms that lead to the experiencing development of Polio. Controlling such elements and symptoms early on is something that is expected to make a definite impact on how polio could be mandated and the population experiencing it could be helped well accordingly. Understandably, it could be realized how good mandate of available resources could actually help them in determining a better essence of what good management of the elements affecting the fight against polio could be given specific attention to; hence lessening the rate of individuals experiencing the said ailment in the community accordingly (Lamine, et al, 2009).

Small Pox was once a controversial ailment in the same community, however, it could be understood that careful research originating from outside the country has led to the distinction of what makes good options of treating the ailment. Most likely, researchers have found it necessary for such good options to be explored further, giving people a better sense of how else they could take away from the current situation they are in and probably escape from such conditions, therefore carefully insisting on how the public could be helped accordingly. The same thing is being done in dealing with polio; it is with this process that the research and evaluation of the situation in Africa have been developed well to provide a definite sense of what is expected of the research and how it could be improved to treat the current situation among the people and further develop a much better situation in the community in the future; which is hoped to be a future fully different from the kind of living that the African society has been used to living with.

Polio and small pox are both differential conditions that often define a community’s capacity to face the different issues related to their healthcare and the integrity of such aspect in making a distinct impact on how people perceives the different elements that could make up the determination of how they are supposed to fight the elements of polio accordingly. What distinctively puts the fight for polio effective enough in pointing out the community’s capacity to fight off such a controversial ailment that has the capacity to eradicate an entire nation, an entire race. The desire of the international health agencies to provide definite protection for the people being affected by polio and small pox is directed towards giving attention to how the elements of social imbalance could be treated accordingly to make sure thatthe future generations would be able to fight off such occurrence of healthcare imbalance (Cochi, et al, 2008).

Hopefully mandating the emergence of such ailments in the future among communities outside Africa, the current situation of the ailment’s status in the community remains affective especially in determining the strength of the people and the healthcare system to manage the condition accordingly. What makes this campaign effective is the contribution of different agencies into the procedure of research that goes into the mandate towards eradicating both small pox and polio in Africa; at present, it is such cooperation that is being longed for, a matter that is believed to determine the real worth of the healthcare programs being imposed in relation to the said health case.
