Pages: 1

Words: 321

Essay

The skull from the European region appears to be broader than the skull from the Asian region. It has an elongated feature through its median sagittal and supraorbital ridges. The nuchal area of the skull has an extended part which is assumed to be a muscle attachment. It has a heavy and well definged cranial wall. The skull has specifically a large jaw, a wide ramus which suggests that the teeth of the said skull are huge enough to fit the frame that the skull has. This is given further proof through the existence of a large and heavy post cranial bone. It has a low and long with full thick cranium. The frontal lobe of the skull is flat and has a raised digital keel. The projecting face of the skull is specifically suggests a wide base. In a way, the critics who have observed the same skull’s structure accept that it has passed some of its traits to its descendants the home sapiens.

On the other hand, the Asian skull has big palates and big sets of teeth. These large teeth actually define the existence of the large mandible in the skill’s mouth. The olfactory cortex is then displaced. The adjustments included the transformation of the craniofacial form. These adjustments on the area of the mouth specifically created a strong impact on the changes which has been directly affected by the change in diet that the ancient individuals have taken into consideration.

Overall, both skulls present modern human skull characteristics including the composition of 22 bones. In relation to the differences of the skulls, time and regional impacts dare seen to have a great effect on the presentation of their specific characteristics. The primary evidence on the endocranial cavity differences between the said skulls is what made the whole comparison a reflective representation of how modern skull models specifically improved from their ancient counterparts as mentioned in this particular discussion point.
