Collaboration

Globalization has brought about collaboration among countries. It has changed how countries conduct business with each other and how they view each other. Social computing has helped in making the world a smaller place and in addition added to how people relate with each other. Supply chain paradigm shift has also been enhanced by the introduction of technology that would shape the manner in which countries relate to each other. For instance, 3-D printing has changed how mapping is done from one country to the other.

Social Computing

Social computing can be described as being the interaction that exists between collaborating computer users and the social behavior that is thus demonstrated due to the collaboration and interaction. The aspect is closely related to the personal computing, which looks at the interaction and colaborati9ve behavior of a personal users and the manner in which he interacts with technology.

As a CEO, I would allow and encourage the use of social computing in the company. One of the main reason why this would be the case is because social computing would help employees ion the organization shear information and knowledge concerning this business. Social computing would also encourage collaboration among different departments in the organization. In addition, social computing will change the manner in which communication is handed down in the organization it would encourage a bottom-up approach rather than the traditional top bottom approach to communication. Systems such as blogs and social media are adopted all over the world and world change the face of globalization.

Master Data Management (MDM) & Big Data (BD)

The combination of business and technology to ensure that an organization runs smoothly in terms of uniformity and other business aspects such as semantic consistency accuracy accountability stewardship and the consistent improvement of the business idea as a whole can be referred to as being Master Data Management. The aspect tries to look at the sheared Master Data Assets as a whole.

Big data can be defined as being the existents of huge amounts of raw data that explain how people intact behave and connect with each other. Big Data in this case looks at the association trends and patterns that are developed over time. Big data comes from computation of large sets of data that are analyzed.

One of the main values that Master Data Management has on the business subset is the entry of a large amount of data that can be easily handled by the company. Big data however, offers large volumes of trends and behaviors that are not directly connected to the business part of the business as a whole. However, in terms of connectivity, big data and data mining influence the business aspect essentially the manner in which business is conducted and the manner in which certain decisions are made in the business front.

Organizational Failure Due to Poor Leadership

One of the major problems that brought to the fallout of the construction company of the Denver airport is the manner in which decisions were made. The leadership did not fully understand how to go about making decisions that were geared to see a proper introduction of the case system in the mix the it industries was also not in root in which communication channel to use so as to see the computation of the project in a timely manner.

As pointed out in the chapter, the leadership of the organization is tasked with conducting an efficient budgetary system so as to ascertain exactly how much is needed to complete a given project in this case, the leadership filed to conduct a thorough budgetary check hence the failure in delivering the necessary funds and thus the collapse of the project.

One of the main leadership changes that might be suggested is a closer look at the leadership competency in the organization. If the leadership were competent, it would have noticed that the project needed more budget than was planned for. In addition, the leadership needs to change the accountability of the manner in which business is conducted.

Risk Management and Identity Management (IDM)

Risk management is one of the most ital. aspects in technology today. In order to protect an organization it is important to conduct an effective risk assessment protocol using tools that are specifically tailored for the organizational need and effectiveness.

One of the major risks identified is the shift in the economy. The shift in the economy can be handled through looking at the patterns and tendency in the economy flow itself. The other risk identified is the emergence of technology that can outwit the existent security protocols. The organization has to stay in hand with the changes in technology and the existent of it. The third is cooperate governance. The risk can be addressed by looking at the change in the manner in which information is sheared in among different organizations.

Needs have shifted. The shift has been brought about by the technological revolution that has changed the manner in which business is handled. Today, business requirements have grown from being economic oriented to being more consumer oriented in that technology has shaped the manner in which business is translated. The current technical environment is where business is conducted by the touch of a figure people are conducting business thousands of miles apart and that is because of the emerging technology. One of the major risks that can be identified is the existents of bigger value chains that increase redundancy. Proper implementation of identity management programs increase productivity while decreasing redundancy.

The organization will be known as Pick and Run. The purpose of this organization is to deliver messages and letters across business in the city. The business will use bikers and cars to deliver parcels and messages in the city. Especially amongst lawyers and other people who use paperweight. The business needs to establish a communication network. The cost of the business will take as little as five thousand dollars to set up. The technical environment will include the use of social sites and other sites for professional services.

While conducting a risk assessment study and feasibility to purchase a given product that would return the investment made by the organization other factors, include the length of period the product will serve the company. This is the time factor of the product. In addition, other business factors must be determined so as to look at the fusibility of the product being purchased some of the factors include whether the product is equivalent to the total cost applied to it and whether the total cost is thus equivalent to the applied cost of the product in terms of organizational advantage.

Metrics

As CTO, I would choose Cumulative Business Value of IT Investment this is because the metrics would calculate the value returns of investing in IT in the organization instead of outsourcing. Through computing figures, it would identify what value the organization has in investing in its own IT rather than out sourcing.
