This report will focus on the current status of the fabric coating industry.  Many of the products that the technologically advanced processes are able to supply consumers are discussed within the report.  Consumers continue to demand for garments and products with multiple purposes, and textile companies are working to continue to experiment with the fabric coating processes to eliminate negative consequences of its use.  Typically, the fabric coating process can have negative effects on the body, most notably through skin irritation.  Government and industry regulations are discussed throughout this report.  Finally, the advancement and future of fabric coating are discussed to continue the evolution of chemical processes for providing more durable, easy applicable fabric coatings for any given situation or consumer need.
