Question 1: Cannot make out orders

Since I am on my way and this is an emergency I will proceed to the incident site and make critical analyses for myself and take the necessary emergency action within my given portfolio..

Question 2: Ladder company officer’s reaction to damaging ladder.

I will quietly caution the firefighter regarding their responsibility of taking safety measures in refraining from damaging the ladder. A damaged ladder could compromise safety.

Most significant records needed to research the 606 Quarter Lane fire incident are the remains left at the fire scene. These include clothing, furniture, bodies, containers and any other form of debris, which can be located.

• confront the fire from belowwithout vertical ventilation
• prepare to undermine the fire from underneath with vertical ventilation
• let a penetrating nozzle do the work
• go to the gable end and attack the fire there

When All-Clear isconfirmed the command must be one initiating control loss-stop tasks. These include ensuring that no unnecessary secondary damage occurs at the site by slowing down the operations(Avilo, 2008)..

Roof ventilation and condition are major concerns.In the scenario the building is relatively old and wooden. Electrical supply is a major safety issue.

Question 7:Fire leading o stairway to second floor

The first action is closing back the door and using ladder to access inside of the building. Leaving the door open can cause ventilation spreading the fire externally.

Question 8:# 6 fire fighter action once back at the quarter

My first action is to report the condition of the roof and my major concerns to the incident commander. Coordinate with roof vent team forreinforcement.

Discussion question:occupant load combined with accessibility issues

With respect to occupant load measures are taken to remove occupants from the building to a safersmoke free environment. In the case of accessibility issues ladders will have to be used in gaining access to the building. The incident commander will further assess the current development and make the necessary decisions.
