Essay

How does one fall in love with someone he has never met in his life? The story of Forever Yours, Anna by Kate Wilhelm is something that provides a distinct insistence on how time lapse and scientific proposals are to be given attention to especially in making a mark on how humans tend to view the importance of relationships. However, in this story, the romantic obsessions begin only based on a definite insistence on what the past has on the value of who the woman was.

Gordon’s motivation to find the woman was because of the desire to retrieve the documents that she has with regards the dead scientist. However, this desire went from a mere purpose to a distinct obsession as he began to read through the messages and letters of Anna. It was as if she was communicating to him from another time and her letters were somewhat making an impact on how he views her as a person rather than just an individual who have a connection to him because of a purpose he needed to complete.

This story entails to present the capacity of humans to feel amidst the distance and the existence of the hindrance of time between to distinctively different individuals. Most often than not, humans are expected to make connections because of directly knowing each other. The one-way consideration and attention that the story tells about is one that basically mandates how the good essence of emotional value does improve the concept of understanding and realization that a person develops with regards a particular matter or a particular individual accordingly.
