Advances and innovations in technology are consistently changing the way in which individuals around the world communicate, organize, collaborate, and do work. These advancements and innovations in technologyextend beyond the internet into electronic devicesinfluencinghow businesses functions internationally. Globalization has greatly affected the workforce, and in relation to technological developments many aspects of business remain obscure.
As such, Human Resource has become a critical feature of the working environment. However, globalization in itself has forced HR into modifying its administrative techniques.This includes adjusting strategies and management practices. When reviewing Human Resources Managementdata a plethora of information was observed highlighting environmental changes that impact organizations’ conduct of HR practices. The article analyzes Srivastava and Agarwal’s (2012) “The Emerging Challenges in HRM’ (Srivastava & Agarwal, 2012, p. 12).
According to these authors the goal of Human Resource (HR) management is to guide organizational development towards promoting efficiency. In applying discrete interventions collaborative efforts could be used in achievingtargets. Precisely, Human Resource must adjust to existing modernization features for effectiveness. More importantly, a Human Resource manager must practice his/her duties at a very high level of competence being aggressive and polite at the same time. Therefore, being fair, firm and friendly are three qualities expected of a manager in this capacity. They incorporate as excellent elements in achieving modernization when applying recruitment techniquesand improving work performance within the work environment.

HR managers address these difficulties through culturally diverse training, and motivating workers. However, while training is advocated and mandatory guidelines must reflect the organizations’ specific strategies for resolving these issues. These challenges make it extremely difficult for HR management keep skilled employees in their organizations. Consequently, HR officials display incompetence in taking employees from basic functioning skills towards more advancedbudgetary applications in execution of their duties.It would appear that globalization has created immense difficulties for human resource management locally and internationally.Hence, there is a need for training allowing managers to become compatible with current development within the science. This article successfully outlined the role of Human Resource management.
