Healthcare Insurance Provision, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 357

Essay

Role A:  A patient without healthcare insurance

Every patient is in need of being given proper healthcare attention as required according to the health case the patient is involved with. It is of course the dedicated role of every healthcare facility to provide what its patients need. In relation to this matter, this responsibility ought to be responded to without any particular choice definitions that are likely to set apart one patient from another which basically sets out an essence of discrimination. Even a patient without insurance policies for healthcare need not be set aside from receiving such service from either the government or private healthcare institutions (Tulenko, 2012). The responsibility of the healthcare industry towards protecting the health of the community is one that creates a more definite form of role that healthcare organizations should be noted for. Without discrimination between individuals, the healthcare establishments should be open towards creating a more responsive form of determination on how they responsibly handle the work that they have primary taken oath for regardless of the economic standing that they belong to (Tulenko, 2012).

Role B: The patient’s relative

The pressure on paying for the healthcare services that the patient receives is often placed upon the shoulders of the patient’s relatives. Given this fact, it is rather important to make a definite form of assistance to patients who may have patients who have no healthcare insurances. Given these guidelines, they would be allowed to find a way to become more involved in the process of paying properly for the medical dues in a more practical manner that would fit their current economic standing (Bond, 1994). Part of the responsibility of the healthcare industry is to make sure that somehow, patients would be given the fair chance to not only follow through the medical assistance they ought to undergo while also allowing them to pay for the services they received as well.
