Primary and secondary sources in Historical Research provide authentic mediums for the information to be verified, using internal and external criticisms.

Hypothesis can be formulated and tested using Historical Research, and conclusions drawn, once a problem has been defined, appropriate literature reviewed, methodology decided, and results gathered.

Several generations can benefit from historical resource, if they are timely provided with quality information. The way challenges of the past were successfully met can present learning moments for those in the present that are facing similar issues and are in doubt.  This is because confidence will exude from members of society, once they have evidence to show that the responses made in the past were authentic. Individuals and society in general can benefit and as a result advance in many respects from Historical     Research, especially when its relevance can be identified and embraced.

This chapter on the subject has positively influenced my critical thinking, in terms of the placing more emphasis on the use of primary and secondary sources as much as possible, to verify the accuracy of information gathered and decisions that will be made.

At the end of the day this knowledge will allow greater levels of confidence to enter into all research projects being pursued, and this no doubt will positively impact future academic progress, even at higher levels of scholarships. Additionally the information has serve to enhance the fine tuning aspects of  future  approach, in that that every step  will be treated with equal importance, as any  deficiency from defining the problem to arriving at the conclusion, can  lead to detrimental consequences in many respects.
