Pages: 2

Words: 466

Essay

An offer in any marketing paradigm refers to an invitation to trade. In this case, people are requested to come and view the products and then make a decision on whether to purchase the products (Harold, 2008). Offer can be made in many ways; such include advertisements and marketing campaigns to people within the targeted market. During the expression of an offer, the decisions making is entirely left to the buyers who may develop a need for having a particular product. Expressing an offer can also be done through the internet using the various social Medias that are used in advertising the desired products. Such may include twitter, facebook and you tube among others. Making an offer takes place both online and offline where business chooses to use marketing personnel to create awareness for the existence of their products.

The product in any marketing niche refers to the item that the offer is all about. Products are mainly the items that are subject of trade, and customers are interested in fulfilling their needs. After identifying the problem, most customers would always choose the right product that would help in quenching their thirsts and fulfilling their needs. An offer differs from a product in that the offer is simply an invitation to trade, and people are expected to express their interests in purchasing the desired product. Product is the subject of the offer, and it targets to fulfill the need created by the customer. The customers have the choice to accept or reject the offer presented to them, and such is likely to develop into a contract (Harold, 2008).

An offer may also differ from the product in that offer comes before the product. During the offer, information regarding the product is given to the individual and then letting them make decisions in regards to acquiring the substance. Marketing is entirely dependent on making offers to buyers; during this time, the buyers are given more information relating to the product and how it can satisfy their needs. The offer may also include the price attached to the product and any other information that the customer may find relevant before making acquisition of the product. Product, on the other hand, comes after an offer has been made, and customers have expressed their interests in buying the substance.

The customers often examine and use the product to ascertain whether they fulfill their needs as per their expectations. An offer is merely an intangible process that entails creation of awareness on the existence of a product, while the product is tangible and certain level of satisfaction can be derived from it. The product, therefore, holds a much higher value than the offer made in regards to it. The process of making an offer and product purchase plays a significant role in customer’s decision-making.
