How Midlevel Practitioners Will Change the Future, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 305

Essay

The future of health care will be made easy by hiring midlevel practitioners. This is because the midlevel practitioners will ease the practice pressures of physicians, boost take home income, and increase the satisfaction of patients. Physician assistants and nurse practitioners will be trained in a style that is protocol-driven, enabling them to participate in Accountable Care Organizations. The practitioners will open up to the idea of practicing in venues that are cost-saving, like, retail health clinics. Larger numbers of people who will be involved in carrying the burden of the growing number of Americans who are insured will be made possible by the more efficient educational pathway of midlevel practitioners.

Care coordination will have to be mastered by midlevel practitioners, because they will be paid for that. The practitioners will be expected to give provision of greater access to care that is of high quality, and of reasonable cost if allowed by the regulations of the state to practice to the maximum extent of their skills and knowledge. They will be party to constant change, however slight, in what the public decides on who has the power to offer health care.

Midlevel providers will be in a position to perform a division of main health care services just like or better than it can be done by physicians. Extended utilization of these practitioners can have the ability to lead to an increase in access to healthcare, mainly in areas, which are historically underserved. The range of restrictions of practice will change and guarantee sufficient compensation for services offered by them as a way of giving encouragement to them and incentivizing superior midlevel providers’ involvement in providing primary healthcare. Midlevel providers who will care for a greater number of people will also act as a motivation to legislators to alleviate regulations that govern midlevel health care providers.
