Reading is quite an interesting exercise for students. It is sometimes unavoidable since the learning process requires reading through various materials from books, journals, magazines and even the internet. Personally, I find reading a very challenging activity and I like reading through various sources top advance my knowledge in education that I can apply in life.

Reading offers me with necessary information that I find useful when at home. Some information that I read while at home are sometimes practical which I can deploy in my routine activities. Reading occupies my mind when am at home. I tend to pass time through reading and save myself from unhealthy activities especially from per pressure.

At school, reading is a major source of knowledge. Reading in school is fundamentally academic and this is useful in enhancing my knowledge as a student. Reading affects me in several ways in school including enhancing my communication skills, writing skills and also my thinking capacity. Reading in school offers me with an opportunity to enhance my knowledge in various disciplines.

In general, reading is a fundamental aspect in human life. Through reading, both at home and at school, collectively assist in transforming the society. Thus reading impacts the community in that, reading is a way through which knowledge is acquired, when the population is informed through reading, it is the community that actually benefits and not individuals. Hence, reading has significant impacts on the lives of individuals and the community at large.
