Introduction
China is a relatively large region of connected locations that are dedicated towards establishing a more defined constitution of economic development in the nation [especially designed towards empowering the life of the individuals and families living in the country]. Given such huge sections of containment, it could be realized how hard it is for the administration to make a definite decision on what specific economic operations ought to be established on what specific locations or regions in the country. Notably, such decisions are based upon the resources that are garnered from particular areas of concern. These resources will identify on what specific industries ought to be established in specific locations and/or what particular zones shall be established there especially for the sake of increasing the economic standing of the people.
Research Question
To note, this research shall be based on the question how do special economic zones drive China’s rapid economic growth? This question shall entail to investigate on what particular pros have the said strategy created in order to make a definite impact on the ways by which the country reaches its peak profiting rate in relation to is current economic capacities.
Literature Review
List of Sources: Data and Other Research Materials
For the past few years, when the emergence of globalization was first introduced to the new economic systems existing in China, the creation of zones have specifically mandated a better sense of what good economic strategies would be best to empower the different regions of the country; therefore allowing them to become a part of the nation’s desire to progress towards distinct economic growth. As a working unit, the national administration of China serves a distinct role in making a mark on how each region is identified with the function it serves the economy based on the produce it is able to offer the economy with.
Knowing how this strategy of zoning affected China’s overall economy is what makes this concern rather important; especially that there are other countries aiming to reach the same development that China has undergone through the past years [especially in relating to economic progress of the people and the country as whole functioning unit]. With the emergent effect of the international economy to the national system of industrial developments in the country, China has tried to create a relative form of categorization that is noted as the setting up of Special Economic Zones or the SEZ approach thus making sure that the primary areas where economic developments are expected to spur out from would be given first hand attention by the administrators. It is assumed that through these zones, the growth of the country’s primary industries would be strongly directed and practically founded upon the strength of the ordinary people to be involved in the process of progress that is desired by the people.
To further the research on this topic the resources from Leonard Cheng (2001) entitled “An agent of global production in Global Production and Trade in East Asia” shall be used accordingly. This material gives a distinct sense on how the Chinese economy has actually grown through the years. Giving a fair description of the picture of economic development that the country has undergone also explains a more defined distinction on how the zoning strategy actually made an impact on the overall industries that would basically define a relative source of economic competence for particular regions in the country. Another useful reference would be that of Alexandra Harney’s (2001) work entitled Getting Over China’ in The China Price: The True Cost of Chinese Competitive Advantage. This material gives a more clarified insistence on how the economic standing of China through the past years have created a new sense of identity for the country in the face of international economic competition. The price of China has increased through the years, and this reading gives a clear valuation on how such matter created an improved essence of how the country faced reflective competition against neighboring developing nations.
From these references, a particular observational analysis of the past and current performance of the Chinese economy based on national statistics reports [published online] shall be given specific attention to. This will allow the research to gain the validity and accuracy it needs in order to present a more distinct essence of information that would prove the actual value of the current Chinese economy compared to the performance of other nations as well. In this case, the study would provide a more extensive process of explaining how the zoning strategy made a course of change for the country as it faced global economic development.
Variable Connected to Theory
In lieu of the recognition of social constructivism, the strategies of special economic zoning in China shall be further examined and carefully criticized. In consideration too this, this study would focus on good economic strategies that establish the economic strength of the sleeping giant and other nations following its course of development.
Through examining the variable of comparative economic progress between regions in Chine, this study shall provide a more definite foundation on how economic stability is measured through the strategies that were adapted by the nation especially in making a mark on how the country performs in the field of international economic competition.
Conclusion
Embracing the culture of progress for the whole nation and helping individuals become more involved in the process would further improve the way China faces the challenge of global improvement based on economic strength founded upon function and concentrated upon the course of continuous development that the country ought to embrace fully. This research shall make it easier for the readers to figure out the pros and cons of special zoning strategy that China embraced as part of its national operation towards extensive progress.
