The public service organization identified in this research is Department of Children and Families. This organization conducts public function across United States of America as a public service entity within the states. Nationwide Department of Children and Families serveis anEconomic Self-Sufficiency Program organization. The organization through its diverse programs focus towards promoting strong and economically self-sufficient communities. At first there is a section, which determine eligibility of recipients for economic assistance. Assistance/ support offered consist of food in the form of food stamps, cash for dependent children and medical assistance such as Medicaid. These support systems have been adapted to assist families during their recovery to process to financial normalcy normal (Department of Children and Families, 1 )

According to analysts for this organization to be considered conducting ecological functions itmust not only reflect reflects duties performed by human, but strive to be compatible with their environment as ecologically viable as they strive to live their daily lives successfully. For example department of children and families while delivering biological functions in supplying basic needs of food, medical cash to meet financial demands, it strives to be compatible with the environment it serves as a public service entity(Robertson, 79 )

Importantly, the organization could be said to service American families all over the country since to be eligible primarily recipients of must account for their immigration status. However, in their ecological alignment immigrantswho prove legal residency can also access some services if eligible. Undocumented immigrants do not qualify for assistance, but if they have America born children assistance is given to these children even though their parents are not eligible. Significantly, this is an ecological approach to public administration.
