Pages: 1

Words: 317

Research Paper

IBM Is one of the most successful computer-developing companies around the globe today. Being a huge organization, it could be realized that somehow its operation affects a large scope of the human community. Given this particular fact, IBM is then expected to handle its reputational presentation in the market in a rather careful way. A part of the process by which the company accomplishes this matter is through making sure that they are able to respond to their corporation’s social responsibility. One of the procedures that the company takes into account is that of the consideration they are placing upon the ways by which they reduce waste in production and manufacturing of new computers and other gadgets related to the same genre.

To reduce production waste, the company follows a green business approach, which involves a good sense on how the raw materials used for production are utilized efficiently. Through this approach, the waste from raw materials are reduced in great amount hence reducing e-waste that are now being pointed out as the culprits of the current environmental issues affecting the human society’s natural resources. A part of this particular process is the condition by which the organization campaigns for the application of Green Sigma among their other business alliances which involves a serious concern over the operational procedures that the said businesses incur.

Through promoting educational understanding upon these conditions of operational adjustment, IBM takes the role of being a model that can promote good business culture that helps the entire human society protect what is left of the environment’s natural resources. This way, the company is able to support the process of sustaining the capacity of the said resources to reproduce not only for current use, but also for the sake of the next human generations on the line.
