In fact it is sufficient to use inclusive language for class forum communication in order to deliver your point or idea clearly and respectfully. Consequently, when a person does not use an inclusive language his whole speech may be overlooked and perceived as containing sexist, racist, or other bias. Therefore, the usage of inclusive language in communication implies that each and every member of our society is valuable and respected. In order to avoid making mistakes and not to offend your interlocutor you must not single out a person’s sex, race or gender especially in case when it does not even interfere with the topic you discuss. For example, when you refer to a woman as ‘this business lady’ it may sound offensive, thus you better never refer to gender when addressing to someone. Moreover, a woman better always be referred by name as a man, thus calling them by first and last names or titles preferably. You should also avoid masculine language in terms of using the word ‘man’, for it puts up men as superior to women, or at least can be interpreted this way.
Therefore, these words better be replaced with such word as ‘person’, which actually sounds pretty neutral, thus demonstrating you do not really diversify.
