Research Paper

Knowing major body organs, systems, and their functions is very important in healthcare because it gives you chance of providing quality healthcare and medical services to the patients. Without the knowledge of body systems or organs and their functions one may not realize what could be the problem a patient is suffering from and may lead to wrong medication or provision of poor healthcare service which may jeopardize the life of an individual. Healthcare informatics which is my field combines the fields of information technology and health to devise a system that is required in administering the expansion of information, improving clinical work flow and improving healthcare security (Stephan, 2010).

The major body organ that is related to healthcare informatics is the brain. The brain acts as a control center for the whole body. It handles central nervous system processes and cognition. Healthcare informatics is use in collecting, analyzing, and transmitting medical processes. It makes use of computer hardware, specialize software and communication systems that make complicated computer networks. Providing medical and healthcare services to the brain requires a very high degree of expertise and knowledge of all the brain parts and its functions. This will enable the physician to offer best medication or intention not to spoil the brain. Health care informatics therefore forms part of the highly required services in analysis, and transmission of medical processes faster than human manpower could do (Stephan, 2010)..

Health care informatics is also very important in providing healthcare to body central nervous system. The information generated by the computers concerning a given problem in the central nervous system if analyzed quickly and accurately so that proper medication is provided at the right time without delay or a procedure is arranged depending on the physicians ruling (Stephan, 2010)..
