Among the most common aspects of development in human history include a distinct indication of how humans embrace knowledge and how they use such elements towards developing into better individuals as they take into account the ideal process of growth and maturity. Among the most common theories taken into account regarding this matter include experiential intelligence and contextual intelligence.

The experiential intelligence theory points out how undergoing particular experiences in life makes a person more capable of facing life’s adversities. It could be realized that with this theory in mind, assessing the capacity of experience to change one’s thinking, perception and process of facing life’s adversities becomes rather helpful especially in providing a good sense of control on how one takes into account the need to make decisions even in the face of hard-to-manage-events in life. Due to the experienced gained by an individual, making complex decisions become a relatively regular part of one’s being that even the toughest kinds of decisions become easier to handle.

Meanwhile, the theory of contextual intelligence provide a distinct indication of how humans tend to take the meaning of matters based on how they occur and not as how they occur. This means that people having this type of intelligence as part of their being becomes more accustomed to dealing with life’s adversities through understanding matters surrounding the situation instead of simply dealing with the surface-elements presenting the problem. This way, humans become more accustomed to situational analysis that improves their capacity to face life’s adversities accordingly.

Considerably, contextual intelligence follows the pattern by which human thinking accesses past learnings to face new challenges in life. The same thing is true with experiential intelligence especially in relation to realizing the worth of past knowledge in connection to the newly acquired understanding in life. Practically though, the difference on how these two aspects of intelligence theory is applied specifically gives a distinct indication on how people tend to see situations to determine their essence of personal growth especially when it comes to utilizing knowledge gained from years of existence.
