The best way to utilize mediums provided by the Internet is to combine online and offline marketing strategies. The below paper is designed to describe the different steps of implementing an online video marketing plan.

Elements of a Video Marketing Strategy

Video marketing entails incorporating videos in a marketing campaign of a given product. The contemporary world and the evolution of the internet and social media have created a lucrative environment that enhances the effectiveness of video marketing (Lim & Choi, 2014). There are certain basic components of video marketing that makes it effective and capable of achieving proper results. Some of the elements include comprehensive display of relevant information to the desired audience. Videos are among the best ways of communicating to a given audience. The process of video communication is cognitive since it occurs unconsciously in the mind of the target audience. Videos, offer comprehensive cover and information regarding the product and through videos, marketers can demonstrate best futures of a product seamlessly without going through so many procedures. The picture motions are important tools of communication and can convince customers faster than the traditional written advertisements where people are compelled to read the information presented (Lim & Choi, 2014).

Another element of video marketing is sound clarity. Most marketers prefer to incorporate sounds in their videos and, as a result, they explain information that they need to pass across the audience. Speech within a video is important for communication since the listener or the viewer takes the information consciously or unconsciously and will have an idea in their minds. Evolution of fast internet and social media has expanded the use of video advertising, and it is no longer limited to television use alone (Roberts & Zahay, 2012). Online platforms, such as YouTube, have encouraged many entrepreneurs to use video marketing for advertising their products.

Other benefits of video marketing include popularity and reaching a wide audience and strengthening the brand (Roberts & Zahay, 2012, p. 92). Both children and adults are often interested to watch movies that seem to educate them or relate to a certain problem that is eminent in their society.

Importance of Marketers ’ Development Of Strategies For Their Videos

Video marketing is quickly becoming a way of communication among people within the contemporary social environment. YouTube and social media is quickly getting filled with information concerning the products and services offered by people in different niches. Most entrepreneurs are equally stepping up marketing campaigns regarding the products and services and, as a result, there are many videos that are available for customer streaming (Logan, 2012). It is thus important for marketers to develop techniques that would enable their videos compete favorable in the current market scene.

The videos should also be search engine optimized, using the relevant product keywords that will lead to people making purchases of the products. It also needs to be optimized for mobile displays (Roberts & Zahay, 2012, p. 448). The keywords should be well researched to ensure that the most searched are used in the video. The strategy may include an article besides the video regarding the contents therein (Roberts & Zahay, 2012). Using this, viewers may have a brief summary of what the video entails and this will make the video easy to understand. Through this optimized description, the video will always appear on the top list of the different search engines and on YouTube’s playlist.

Using ideal video length is also important. Most customers are not interested in long videos; rather, they need a short video that illustrates the intended purpose perfectly. A good video strategy should therefore entail a brief and to the point illustration of the idea or product benefit, and in most cases it should leave the customers demanding for illustrations that are more similar (Logan, 2012). The benefits attributed to this are that it makes customers develop first priority for your videos rather than the competitors’.

Offering a link to the product page is also a very crucial element of video marketing. The aim of video marketing is to create awareness of a particular product and then lead customers towards making a purchase. The link should be provided in the end or below the video footage; the importance of this is that it leads to high sales of the products since customers would click on the link and most of them are likely to make orders for the products. Productivity of the campaign can be measured through click-through rates: how many percent of visitors clicked the link (Roberts & Zahay, 2012, p. 389).
