Leadership Beliefs: Strengths and Goals, Essay Example

I believe that a leader can make a difference not only in the organization, but in the society as well. I would like to be one of the influential leaders who are able to initiate projects and gain followers’ commitment.

Apart from being a leader, I would also like to help others develop themselves. I would like to be a successful communicator so I can teach not only job-related knowledge but leadership skills as well in the future. Through this education, I can help others to take action and change their own lives.

I would like to build a positive culture within my role as a leader and use an open communication system to gain commitment and engagement for my projects. I would like to use and improve my communication skills to be able to effectively deliver ideas, missions and my personal vision.

I understand that my belief is a powerful leadership asset that can not only get me through difficulties but also influence others. My belief and positive attitude can be an example for others in the organization and empower individuals.

As a conclusion, I would like to become a leader who is able to effectively communicate ideas, empower people, show an example of positive attitude and belief, gaining commitment to causes and projects through collaboration. I refuse to take on an authoritative leadership style; I believe that openness and effective communication does deliver better, longer-lasting results. My faith journey and commitment to help others to understand how it feels to support others and try to think about individuals’ needs. Through looking at people as equals and believing in them, I can encourage my team members to have faith in their success and try their hands at challenging tasks, this way empowering them.
