I would like to send in my request of being the guest of honor on the charity event that you have announced to complete in the next few weeks. I am hoping to be given the chance to be one of the candidates for the said position as I do want to share my thoughts and idealisms with regards the cause of the event.

Being a charity-enthusiast myself, and having a good background on public service and helping out the less fortunate individuals in our community, I feel that I have the right qualifications to provide the inspiration needed for the audience you are catering to during the event. Beside this reason is my desire to help out other members of the community to understand the situation of those who are in need of their help; that a small amount of assistance would go a long way towards giving others a greater hope for their future.

I would sincerely appreciate it if you could hear out my request and give me a chance to be a part of this eventful occasion that could change the lives of the many people we serve.
