Both movies and movies influence Americans’ love of speed and speed. This case influenced the present Los Angeles car culture. The car culture as shown in motion pictures persisted to create the fast pace of car innovation and development in America (Carrabine, Eamonn, and Brian 182). The pace eventually trickled down to Los Angeles. The quest for cars that could move past must have been influenced by the experience of the Second World War People desired to have vehicles that could help them escape or catch an enemy swiftly.

Artists have played a crucial role in influencing the car culture in Los Angeles. They used their skill to appeal to the consumers and influence them make choices of the motorcycles. With the advent of four-wheeled vehicles, the art went on placing attractive pictures on the vehicles (Ulin 14). The artistic culture of painting and sculptures was an enormous influence in the motorcycle design and appearance. Artists used a variety of styles to make the motorcycles appealing to the customers. For instance, Sara Ray, Troy Lee, and Pete decorated associated vehicle elements such as the gas tanks and helmets (Sheller 230). Lee made into collaboration his hobby of painting friends’ motocross helmets with Peter Fonda. Peter Fonda was part of the “Easy Rider”, the iconic 1969 motorcycle movie.

The development of car culture in Los Angeles closely relates to other Cities such California. In fact, it was the influence of California car innovation that made Los Angeles car culture prosper to the present scenario (Davis 23). The California car culture influenced whole of the present American car culture. It is, therefore, clear that the influence of artists in the present Los Angeles car culture was far reaching. The artist’s work has a significant influence in the attitude of the consumer.
