This article informed me that malaria is a disease that is transmitted primarily through mosquitos. There are several species of mosquito that are capable of carrying the parasite that cause the disease. It is possible to prevent the spread of this deadly disease by limiting the number of mosquitos available in the environment in addition to limiting their contact with people. It is possible that malaria intervention programs would also be helpful to assist with this effort. Of primary importance, we must monitor individuals with additional diseases, such as HIV and AIDS, as the symptoms will manifest themselves in a more serious form in these patients.

While the information that was presented in this article was interesting, it would have been more beneficial for them to discuss the disease treatment process. The article did not go into specifics concerning the advantages of the individual drugs so we cannot predict what will happen when they are combined.
