The American political history has been on board with the discussion of the proposal for the public service programme to be initiated in the learning institutions to be utilized by the youths in school. Despite this great step that the political administration of the United States of America is trying to undertake, the institutions are already out and trying to implement their own voluntary programmes to engage the youth. The community service groups are said to be requiring the students to complete the specified number of hours to this particular services that serve as some of the conditions necessary before the graduation of the students.   According to the information from the American documentations, the community service sometimes require the student to complete particular hours in the community servicing with organization or agencies and there by approved by the community or the organization in charge (Dunlin, S. (2008).

The American government is being backed a big number of civil society leaders to amend the proposal in the institutional programme for the benefit of both the student and the community. The programme will serve as a major tool in the personal development of every student whereby the student is well capable of evaluating himself when it comes to his personal contribution in regard to the community service. The programme has a variety of important roles if it will be amended and initiated in the school programme. According to the government and the institutional strategy, the programme will create new service opportunities that will at the end of the day give the rewards to the American government due to its dear commitment to it. The programme is also viewed to provide some incentives for the middle classed students and those in the high schools that will be engaged in the service. The summer programme service are seen to engage this students in the community volunteer work and this will automatically help them earn some cash that will necessitate their operation in the college. The programme will be greatly used by most of the students as an opportunity to for them to take part in the provision of solutions to the challenges facing their community at large. This in turn can be a better avenue to be used to engage the students to help in the bridging of partnership between the communities based organizations and the schools found to be in need. The students will therefore be expected to address specific challenges that most of their communities face (Whittington, O. R. (2008).

Apart from the lower level and high school institutions, most of the community services do also engage the university and college students around certain communities. Campuses that have the services will therefore be contacted to support all the services in their capacity. Through proper implementation of the programme, the opportunities available will be boosted by for the benefit of the disadvantaged in particular communities, this include those with disabilities, the aged and those from the diverse backgrounds. These programmes will also have impact to the addressing of key issues among the community members like low income, energy efficiency and the conservation measures.  Proper initiation of the programme will too help in the expansion of the focus in the national security issues in terms of disaster relief, environmental issues, infrastructure upgrading and the entire approach in development. Partnerships in the services with other federal agencies will be encouraged. These programmes will too establish best strategies in the calling for service campaigns. In addition to this, the national alumni responders in reserve to respond to emergencies would be better established. The program will to increase the service opportunities in the public private partnerships and the older Americans at large and in a sustainable manner.
