Marijuana as a Cash Crop in the United States of America

Marijuana is one of the most grown crops in the United States of America. Some days back, it was an illegal to have it since it caused a lot of criminal cases around the country. The government has seen it better to legalize it.  Marijuana is mostly expensive in terms of growing and purchasing by the end users. It also yields a lot of tax to the government. Legalizing marijuana will make it a cash crop in the United States of America. The government will get that almost everybody will tend to grow it since it brings a lot of income due to its expensiveness. Many farmers have found it good since it acts like a medicine to heal several illnesses. Some medical users like Marsha, a U.S citizen says that she has been using a wheel chair for quite some time. But when she started smoking marijuana, she was relieved from the body and the chronic pain caused by nerve damage. Since the government knows very well that they do get a lot of tax from marijuana, it has enforced a law to make it legal. For any one interested in planting it, must have a license from the government (Wendy, 2010). This adds a lot of revenue to the government. It can be beneficial in preventing nausea in chemotherapy patients or those with severe motion sickness.

Marijuana is a proposed method of coping with the symptoms of neurological disorders like sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and epilepsy (Wendy, 2010)..  It is also used for recreational by the youths. If anyone is tired, he or she sniffs it and gets the energy to do a lot of tasks without stopping. They say that it stimulates the brain and makes a person to perform a number of tasks.

In conclusion, looking at all these advantages, all the majority of the citizens will tend to grow it across all the parts of United States of America. Due to this it will make it one of the best cash crops.
