Marketing and Sales Strategy for Our Organization, Essay Example

Pages: 2

Words: 538

Essay

It is important for me to uphold ethical standards regarding my employment at my previous company. When I entered into employment with the organization, I signed a legal contract stating that I would not divulge any information pertaining to the company as a component of my non-competition agreement. Providing this information would breach a legally binding clause that I signed at the beginning of my employment with this organization. While I value the opportunities that this company has presented me with, it is not my role to provide this type of information to a new organization. On the other hand, I am able to incorporate the level of experience that I have had with this organization in my new practice with your company. While I cannot disclose the information to other members of the team, I am able to act in a manner that will help us engage more competitively with my old organization. Doing so would be within the realms of legality and I am willing to expand my current project involvement to make the success of our company a possibility. I intend to help the organization in an ethical and legal manner and am committed to ensuring that our goals will be achieved successfully. Below, I disclose to you my plan to ensure that we are able to push sales forward and compete effectively with my prior organization and with our other competitors across the nation and world.

In order to get started with this mission, I will begin organizing a sales strategy that will help our marketing and sales team surpass their previous goals. To start this project, it is first necessary to gather research on sales and marketing strategies in addition to public information that has been released concerning our competitors. I will conduct an analysis of peer-reviewed literature to determine the methods that are commonly used by successful companies and will work closely with the sales and marketing team to determine which combination of plans should be implemented by our organization. We will then assess my previous company’s techniques in terms of the data they are able to publicly report to determine how we can best outcompete their sales numbers. Specifically, we should consider their target demographic and degree of success to which they are able to reach these individuals compared to our own marketing strategy. Next, we can determine how to better advertise our products to ensure that we can make them more appealing to these individuals in addition to determining how are products could appear desirable to a wider range of consumers. Profitability can also be increased by optimizing lean practices so that we spend less to manufacture the products we make. Overall, there are many steps that our company can take that would improve our ability to compete with my old organization that does not necessitate me to illegally divulge this information. I continue to put the company’s interests ahead of my own and will therefore continue to engage in efforts to ensure that we are able to rise to the top of our competition.

Please consider my project proposal and forward me any relevant questions. Together, we can ensure that this company will remain successful and increase its profitability over time.
