I want to start up a small business named Tom’s Shoes in the local vicinity of the suburb of New York City and in the metropolitan area. I plan to open a store in Jersey City and one in the city, itself. I will cater to the working class men and women furnishing designer suits for the middle and upper class people. There will be a good crowd that comes to my store because of the geographic location I have chosen, the segmentation with relation to the age group I am catering to of 30-50 and the particular accessories and shoes I am also offering. I am offering a specialty shoe made in Europe called Tom’s Shoes which is ergonomically correct for the average to hard to fit male and female which comes designed with extra comfort padding. A person can come into the store to purchase a suit for under $100 dollars and walk away with a smile. Shoes run about $65 dollars a pair and accessories run between $20-30 each.

I am offering free tailoring for all purchases and online ordering off my website. I also offer free home deliver for orders within a thirty mile radius of $200 and over. I treat my platinum customers very special. What sets my store apart from others is that our suits are limited in quantity. We only make 20 suits of each size hence you will not find all the streets of Jersey and New York wearing the same suit. They are designer look and quantity, including quality but for mediocre prices. Now you just can’t beat that philosophy with a stick!

We have small sales of children’s items to keep the mother and father shoppers close to home while keeping the children entertained whilst in the store with Mommy and Daddy.
