Essay

There are two passages that have great meaning today which address the psychological battle against violence that Martin Luther King, Jr. fought against racism and segregation in the South. The two passage are’ We must constantly handle any barrier in life on better place than our oppressor with pride and self-respect”. We must not allow our creative protests to degenerate into physical violence. We must be diligently stopping at nothing to reach the highest height of humanity to meet violence with our strong souls force.” Second passage “ As good people we sit on the right side of God and be not hurt about harmful deeds as a response. Let us not seek out violence with being poison by hate and bitterness”(American Rhetoric,2015).

Main Point #1.

We must be above man with the discipline and self-respect not to entertain the acts of violence nor retaliate with violence and use our God given minds and souls to make change. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protests to degenerate into physical violence.

  • Sub Point-People can oppose issues in a humane way without resorting to violence or anger. People should be above the hatred and discrimination that make others want to lose their dignity for someone so meaningless as hate.
  • Sub Point. This point is people must reach personal spiritual force against physical force that will not be broken or stirred from violence that is put before us and still rise in the moments of violence to show we are not afraid of the violence and will continue to come forward armed with our minds, hearts and God’s soul force. Let your emotions be soothing and never let your soul be on fire(ABCNewsGo,2015).

Main Point #2.

The main point is people should not be respond with violence but stay in our peaceful rightful place that

  • Sub Point- Human beings have a choice not be violence and one bad deed does not require the response to be another bad deed
Sub Point-That no matter how much violence that is done to a human being it is more powerful to embrace that violence and still love them into defeat

Main Point #3.

  • The primary point from both passages is violence can destroy your soul therefore at all cost even your life you must not fall into that deadly trap.
Sub Point-Violence can consumed your soul
Sub Point-Embrace fellowman demanding equal treatment armed with sacrifice

Conclusion

Both passages talk about the human soul and humankinds ability to endure. Both passages are to motivate people in the worst moments in their life facing violence or danger and be not afraid
