Essay

I have learned that writing is about expressing your thoughts in clear and precise manner that can be understood by the reader. In addition, I learned that writing can be written in with emotion that lets reader understand the tone of the author. I learned that you can use a range of emotions to bring the reader into the story such as sympathy, happiness, courage and playfulness. In writing a story or paper, I have learned that developing the story line helps with the overall deliver of the paper. The story line needs to be simple without adding to many points that it confuses the reader or the paper requires more explanation so the reader can understand your primary points. I learned about writing styles which allows you influence the reader to understand your point of views. My writing style for this paper was conversational because I was sharing a story the way a person would communicate to a close friend.

In this paper, my tone was upbeat and informative about soccer and living your life. I would like to improve my vocabulary some my writing sounds, feels and delivers like a strong academic piece of literature. In addition, I believe I should improve my transition of my paper with sub titles to express when I am discussing a new idea. I learned that you can delivering a positive message in the paper can keep the reader interested in your story.

In my career I will use my knowledge of writing to ensure I am conveying the write message to the reader. In my class participation, I have learned that giving good honest feedback about their writing will help them in the future. My over reflection of the paper is I did an excellent job of staying with the subject to soccer and easy reading without confusing statement. However, I think I can improve my choice of words or better diction.
