The purpose of writing this paper is to introduce my intentions, attributes and motivational factors that drove through the decision of going after double majors. At present, I am a student of applied linguistic for master program. I am indented to enroll myself in TESOL program offered by the University to double majors. In this fast moving world, it is very much important to adopt an approach which should be well enough to tackle all the challenges of personal as well as professional life. As I am already doing my masters in Applied Linguistic, the addition of TESOL will be very productive for me. This is the best combination of majors which can be very much helpful and supportive to enhance my skills. TESOL is a program that focuses mainly on theoretical and practical aspects of the relevant field. The Master specialization in TESOL stresses on the understanding on the function and role of teaching of English language as it closely relates to the social climate and political scenario of today’s world . One of the most important motivational factor which leads towards taking decision of doing TESOL as the second program is the thrust of getting exposure. Due to the internationally acclaimed reputation of the University and diversified scope of TESOL program I will be having a lot of option open for me throughout the world.

The motivation that leads me towards double majors is my interpersonal skills such as effective use of communication, good use of language, and leadership skills. I will ambitious to start a good academic career in TESOL and will get nurtured professional in a future life.
