The instrumentation which had been applied was piano. The form is sonata – allegro. The expression is crescendo which concludes in forte. I appreciated the beginning which with the polyphonic entrance announced the serenade. I was mesmerized by the entranced with its mixed texture. I liked the way that the strings section was applied in order to tell a tonal poem. It is almost as if the music is trying to debate a point. I was fascinated by that characteristic. I liked the manner that each of the categories of musical instrument, the wood winds and the strings are trying to plead a point to the listener. The musical argument reaches a crescendo that reaches an apex at 7: 00. It then continues to debate with the listeners while experiencing a number of decrescendos and crescendos.

The instrumentation had been full orchestra which was directed toward the central instrument which was the piano. The dynamics initiated with moderato. The melody was short phrase.

I relished the manner that Evgeny Kissin initiated with the long notes on the piano in the beginning of the concert and the manner that this transformed into short phrases as the concert progressed. The primary aspect that I enjoyed about the concerto was the dramatic role of the pianist, Evgeny Kissin. I was intrigued at how the orchestra was centered on the pianist. I found looking at the pianist playing the piano to be as interesting as listening to the concerto. I enjoyed the way the Evgeny Kissin would reach a crescendo and then alternate with a decrescendo.

I enjoyed the coordination of the conductor, Claudio Abbado as he led the orchestra through the changes which had been made to mimic the effects of waves on the ocean. I was tickled by the violin playing at 4: 55 and the wind instruments when they joined in at 5: 15. I like the way that Debussy’s La Mer 1st movement concluded which had been forte.
