My personality theory depicts or reflects my innate desires and conceptual growth and development. I am basing my personality theory on the fact that all human beings are born with a collective unconscious right. I am a sub-section or entity of the subconscious. The decency of life, the node of living, and the mechanism of existence of every human, as I am, is based on the level of unconsciousness therein. As such, my personality theory reflects and exemplifies that I am born of a collection of unconscious precepts. I have varied desires. These desires are derived at enabling me fulfill and meet the needs and demands of life. I work hard to attain a fulfillment of “self.” This is my main goal. All the other goals of life, working, and general interaction with one another are geared towards making the “self” satisfied at all times (Kottler et. al., 2011).
My behavior is subject to the interests and connotations of the “self” in me. Every activity that influences the behavior comes from the fact that humanity is all about pleasing a “self.” Human behavior is a model, which actually tries to elicit the reactions and mannerism taken by the “self.” Due to this, my behavior as a student, as a learner, and as a normal and conscious human being, is based on the needs and wants, which make the “self” satisfied at all, times. Within the realm of behavior modification is the fact that one single individual has all the capacity to develop, control, and even depart from a particular behavior. Through my own ability to modify and attract or repel behavior traits, I tend to embrace the qualifications given by the “self.”
People vary in their description and demonstration of behaviors. In a modern society or world, humanity ascribes a notion that behavior development is either an environmental or a biological phenomenon. This is a slight remark given because my innate behavioral characteristics are influenced, and hence are edified through the environment. As such, I am a social human being. I embrace social restrictions. I embrace social fragments as love, peace, joy, and so many others. While in school, I learn other facets as respect, obedience, patience, and loyalty. All these are a derivation of the “self.” Therefore, behavior modification is also a making of the “self” possessed by an individual. Behavior cannot be generated without the “self.” With all matters held constant, my behavior is my “self” and that my “self” is my behavior (Corey & California State University, 2013).
Response to environmental approaches varies in different people. For instance, the way I respond to matters concerning health, love, and others, is different and of varying magnitude as the way responded by another individual. In short terms, “self” varies from one individual to another. My “self” can only either imitate or copy the behavior of another “self.” I cannot overrule the existence of another “self” since my immediate “self” defines my behavior. This is in response to any other activity in the environment.
My unconscious is genetically modified so that it can convince me on various positions and methods of being a survivor. Existence is all about surviving. The “self” factor dwells because it is able to survive the ordeals of the society or environment of existence. I am able to live and exist because my “self” is able to let me survive. The unconscious within an individual guides him or her at all times. When the unconscious fails, the “self” also fails, and I die. When the unconscious lives and functions well, I live through the resurgence of my “self.” As such, the unconscious, something that I was born with, defines the rules and magnitudes of the operations of my “self.” This is rather a different aspect when I consider the fact that I am supposed to live and exist amongst other people as my fellow students. Personally, I am a different entity. Though I posses the unconscious which defines everyone in any surrounding, I manage to exist because of the influence of the unconscious. In real life situations, the unconscious is a making of the traits within me. The unconscious instills certain traits that define my purpose in life. My main activity or purpose is to let these traits grow and develop to be dependable and super active at all times. Every individual has his or her own traits. As such, it is my responsibility to let these traits develop so that it becomes impossible to lose them. As I grow up and involve myself in learning and trying to integrate other traits in the environment, I am soliciting my innate ability to have the existing traits develop through the intruder ones. Through this, one will be able to differentiate me from my other comrades. I can never be the same to another individual. This is because of the fact that my “self,” my unconscious, together with my ability to let the traits grow and develop, is different compared to that of another individual.
As a human being, I have my own interests. Various things attract me. This is similar to other people in nature. The environment is the central feature of attraction. Therefore, I get attracted to the environment and its components. The second feature of attraction is my fellow people. I get attracted to some people and not all because the opposite is true. People with particular traits that resemble my innate traits attract me. Those with traits that are not pleasurable to my “self” or unconscious get repelled away from me. As such, I am able to stand ground and define my personality in the form of a theory. The individual who best understands these traits, “self” and unconscious is I and no one else. Other people just try to understand me. This could happen through experience or learning. In daily living, I execute use of the unconscious in order to manipulate into my “self.” I feel important when the other traits pleasure or resemble my best traits. As such, my innate desires and capabilities are exemplified by nature and environment. As I grow up, the traits also are developed. They increase in experience and adaptation to the environment. Through this, I am able to survive in that environment. At some instance, these traits try to overcome and control my behavior. In such circumstances, I become defenseless. I ascribe to the demands and connotations of the traits in me. This is what people normally call the talent. When I get in touch with my traits and explore them in my actions, I am living my talent. Everything becomes possible. Even if impossibilities are present, almost everything gets to a successful ending.
Therefore, my personality theory explores on my innate being. It depicts or rests upon the traits in me. Through my traits, my mind operates. For instance when I get shocked, my mind becomes neurotic. At this particular situation, I develop certain characteristics of an ego or social-self. People develop varied levels of ego just to survive various ordeals and situations in the society. As such, my personality theory is as simple as a breath. My personality theory relays a lot of learning procedures, which benefit my own growth and development capabilities as a student (Corey, 2009).
