Negative Traits, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 353

Essay

Everyone’s different but there is something that is the same about everyone and that is the fact that everyone has some type of negative traits that get them into trouble. Personally, I have three that seem to get me into trouble. They are (1) being hard to wake up in the mornings, (2) being too sloppy and (3) being too critical of other people.I like to stay up late at night. This trait gets me in trouble because I have so much that I like to do such as watch late night television, surf on the Internet, shop online and visit social networking sites. But, unfortunately, there is a price to staying up late, especially when I have to be someone early in the mornings, and that is not being able to wake up too easily. When anybody tries to wake me up they have to yell my name or I won’t hear them or they have to shake me until I finally wake up, then if they let me, I’ll fall right back to sleep in about 10 seconds.

Another trait that gets me in trouble is being too sloppy. I’m not so much dirty like having dirty dishes or garbage lying around, but I’m just messy. I’ll have a bunch of clothes lying around that I’ve washed but didn’t put up or I’ll have all of my papers lying around in an unorganized way. I might also have a bunch of shoes everywhere you look. My room was always a mess and my mom would always yell about it.

The third negative trait that I have trouble with is being too critical of other people. I have a tendency to be very opinionated about other people’s business. I’m trying to stop this but when I see something that someone else is doing that they should not be doing, I say something. Or if they say something that I think needs correcting, I correct it. I know this is kind of hypocritical of me since I just listed three of my own flaws but the question was asked so I’m just being honest. Right?
