Network Forensic DB4

In simple terms, quality assurance ensures that in a given process, right things are done in the right way. In the software development life cycle, quality assurance entails evaluation of the different parts of the software development life cycle which is used to minimize downtime, mistakes and bugs while keeping the core objective of any process in check to ensure it is achieved (Godbole, 2004).

Jorgensen (2002) postulates that an example of real world effective quality assurance is in the hospital information systems. It may contribute in different ways to the quality assurance activities such as monitoring quality indicators and assessing the quality of primary care.

Network Forensics DB5

The release milestone should not be considered the end of the project. This is because after the release, improvements on the specific project and even release of other versions, not to mention amends and corrections will be locked out.

Improvements and release of better versions should be included in the project. Bugs and inconsistency that might have evaded the testing and debugging stage too should also be included (Chemuturi, 2010). If the project is considered finished, room for correction and improvements will not be available thus locking out better application services and performance.

Post project activities include application improvements and amends. As an application is being used, over period some features are improved and in the process others are amended in order to improve the performance of the application. Galin (2004) relates that amends are done in order to do away with any bugs that may develop during usage. Other post-project services include better versions released.
