Source: OSHA, Federal Railroad Administration Sign Agreement to Protect Workers From Retaliation. http://www.osha.gov/pls/oshaweb/owadisp.show_document?p_table=NEWS_RELEASES&p_id=22701. (Retrieved on August 5, 2012).

Occupational health is an important aspect of environmental health operation. Notably, protecting the values of the workers does not only give assumptive protection to the life of the laborers but also saves a lot of monetary fund that is dedicated to emergencies that often result to higher expenses in the end. The article released by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration on the approval of the Federal Railroad Administration on the agreed protection for railroad workers have a great impact on the presentation of the evidence of law being a source of confidence when it comes to providing effective environmental health considerations.

In this article, OSHA provides the details as to how FRA allies with different institutions in the railroad industry so as to make amendments on how their workers are being protected from specific work-related emergencies. It is established in this article that with the aspect of inspecting, enforcing and educating the people and the employees regarding the rules of proper worker and employer behavior towards work, such emergencies are supposed to be avoided successfully. In cases of serious emergences, health support programs are  well defined within the clauses of established agreements between employers and their workers that are further approved by the FRA.

It is also mentioned in this article that OSHA is more than obliged to help FRA in reestablishing rules and regulations that would establish better health protection for the railroad workers hence making it easier for the said laborers to secure not only their jobs but also their health for the sake of better work performance. It is believed that with such pursuance of work-related rules, the capacity of the institutions to protect their workers and their institution from unnecessary healthcare expenses would have a great impact on how both parties perform in line with the responsibilities they have towards each other.
