Case Brief

Evans was involved in child molestation in his hometown and was previously prosecuted but was later released. He moved on with his life and was engaged to Sharon, who had an eight-year-old son. They went to meet Evans’ family at his hometown and frequented that place. However, none of the members spoke about Evans’ dark past. However, Sharon discovered that her son was molested periodically whenever they went for those visitations. After filing a report against Evans, she found that he was previously convicted for molestation and thus was prosecuted and convicted back to prison. The ordeal hurt Sharon that his family members knew about the crimes and ignored informing her to ensure that she had protected her son from experience. She filed a lawsuit against the family members, demanding compensation since they contributed to his damage.

However, the jury discarded that case since the family did not owe her an explanation regarding her fiancé’s dark past. The family members had no close relationship between the son and the family, thus not assuming care for his well-being. The court could have held the family accountable for the child’s atrocities if they had a close relationship with the mother. However, they were there for visitation thus had not bonded pretty well before Evans started molesting him. The constitutional laws protect the third person with information regarding the defendant that they had hidden from the victim suppose they have no significant relationship. The criminal had sole responsibility to explain his dark past regarding molestation to her new fiancé so she could take necessary actions that would allow safeguarding her child. Therefore, the case had minimal weight presented to the jury when weighing by that explanation.

Office Party Proposal

I have pretty few suggestions that should be incorporated into the anticipated party. First, they should allocate the financial budget for the party according to the number of people present in the office. The event should be organized and ensure that they stick to the budget manipulating the available resources to fit every individual. The management should select the best event planners to preside over catering and refreshments for every office member. Entertainment should be included since it will ensure that the office members interact and have fun during the office party. The primary objective is to ensure that the employees are highly entertained; thus, the office party should succeed. They should find the best venue according to the financial budget that they could hold the party. The management should include different fun activities to be performed by the office members. For instance, they can incorporate photo sessions or brainstorming activities which will enhance the bonding session.

The office party should have the central theme leading to the celebratory event. They should allocate the specific time that the party would take. The time should be average, and the events should be brief, thus allowing the employees to head back to their occupational post. The office party should include the exact starting time where the office members will be expected to arrive and wait for the unfolding events. The financial budget should consist of miscellaneous funds that would cater to the broken utilities after the party. The party planners should develop a schedule where it indicates the step-by-step party proceedings. The atmospheric view should suggest that it is an office party hosting the office members in an organization. The office party should be a success, and the planners must ensure that no damage had occurred.

Computer Acquisition proposal

The computer should have complete hardware, and the products must be of high quality. Under no circumstance should the organization distribute half packaged computer and low-quality merchandise that would be damaged. Another factor is that the computers should be provided with warranties that ensure they are repaired by the seller whenever they face a challenge. They are entitled to change the gadgets when they experience technical challenges, and the discerned problem is because of the seller’s carelessness. The warranty includes free trial time to assess the products to ensure they fit their needs and description before completing the payment. For instance, the seller should provide a three-month computer trial where they access the competency of the machinery and receive a full payment if the customer proves satisfied.

The computer software should have the complete requirements and be updated to the latest version. The windows version changes periodically, and the seller must continually update the software system in the purchaser’s machine. Moreover, the software system should be fitted with updated security systems ensuring that the computer is protected from outside access. The seller is obligated to help the client with the installation process and any technical need that might arise after acquiring the commodity. During the warranty period, the client should be entitled to constant hardware maintenance to ensure that they eradicate all probabilities of developing challenges. The proposal letter should be responded to in good time to ensure that the client plans the necessary funds’ required for computer acquisition.
