According to Jones and George (376) organizational change is the organizational movement from its current state to an anticipated state in order to increase its effectiveness and efficiency after the change.

The choice of organizational change founded by the desire of every company leader or manager to have the company progress to a better state than the current position of the company. Where a company has a regular, organizational change, there are always positive results attached to the change. For a company to have positive progress there should be a proper strategy for organizational change. A company that performs highly attributes its performance to constant changes in seeking to attain effective and efficient operations. The changes aimed at being positively responsive to events that are unpredictable. I selected organizational change because every organization has the aim and desire of progressing to a better state that its current position.

Organizational change can be seen in the Taiwanese company, Acer. The company has maintained its productivity as a result of proper organizational change. Acer is able to   move quickly in an aim to take advantage of the openings in the market. The movement by Acer which takes a matter of weeks to achieve is a result of proper organizational change. Other organizations take longer periods to adapt to these changes and, therefore, do not take the market opportunities on time. Acer due to its organizational change can take advantage of global opportunities in an efficient way. The company stays on the front in productivity since the external and external factors that affect production change constantly. In order to harness maximum returns, the organization must regularly change its operational strategies.
