Organizational Culture as an Educator

While the current organizational culture of my workplace is one that supports encouragement in advancement of all employees, I believe that too few of my colleagues belief that sports and other extra-curricular activities are a necessary part of the overall school experience. I believe that staff involvement in these activities would foster a greater sense of togetherness at the school that would aid improvement of the organizational culture.

Organizational Culture as a Family

Since my wife and I collectively make important family decisions, it would be useful for use to improve our organizational culture as a family by enhancing our communication skills.

Organizational Culture at Backfield in Motion

While this is a non for profit organization with limited resources, Backfield in Motion would do well to bolster its organizational culture by promoting the children involved in the program to occasionally bring friends and family members who may benefit from the program as well. In doing so, Backfield in Motion would be able to spread its message and values to a greater number of young individuals which will likely help them in the long run. While it would be necessary to raise more funds for the program in order to be more inviting to outsiders, it is likely that a higher interest in the program will be followed by increased donations from the community.
